Vacancy: Financial Controller

Position Overview: As a Financial Controller in the telecom industry you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with financial regulations, optimizing financial processes, and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements. Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with other departments to develop and manage the budgeting process. Provide regular financial forecasts to assist in decision-making and resource allocation.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis, identify key performance indicators, and present insights to the management team. Offer recommendations for improvement and cost optimization.
- Internal Controls: Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Monitor financial transactions and review financial records.
- Cash Management: Manage and optimize cash flow, monitor cash balances, and oversee cash disbursements. Implement strategies to maximize the return on idle funds.
- Audit Coordination: Facilitate the annual audit process with external auditors. Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Financial Strategy: Contribute to the development and execution of the financial strategy for the client’s operations, in alignment with the company’s overall objectives.
- Compliance: Stay up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and ensure the company’s adherence to all legal requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (Master’s degree and relevant certifications are a plus).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the telecom industry.
- Strong knowledge of Romanian financial regulations and reporting standards.
- Proficiency in financial software and tools, including ERP systems.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
